I started in high school as a lot tech at G & R Sales located
at my present location. Graduated to a sales position in 1971.
Moved to Bedford, Indiana in 1977 and was a sales associate at
Eberman Pontiac, Buick, GMC. I moved back to Troy, Ohio in
1979 and returned to G & R Sales. In 1980 I ventured out on my
own and opened Independent Auto Sales. In 1981 I had the
opportunity to purchase the G & R Sales property and moved
Independent to it's current location where we have operated
ever since. I have over 45 years in the Automotive Industry.

Graduated from Troy High School in 1984 with a passion to work on cars. Thru the early 1990's I worked for a few local repair shops and in 1996 I took a position as an assistant mechanic at Independent Auto Sales. Then in 2005 I took the position of Service Manager. I have over 25 years of service experience.

Troy native with a passion and love for automobiles. I graduated from Troy High School in 1998 and the Upper Valley JVS with a certificate in Auto Mechanics and followed my dream to become a master technician. I have worked as an auto tech since graduating in 1998 and have worked for a few different local shops. I joined the team at Independent Auto Sales in early 2016 I feel very at home here and hope to carry out the remainder of my career right here.
Randy Chamblin - Detail Specialist

Troy, Ohio native and a 1983 graduate of Troy High School. I just loved cars and as a teenager I worked in my fathers garage restoring cars. I later went off on my own to run my very own shop. Then in 1996 I took a position as lead detailer at Joe Johnson Chevrolet I left Joe Johnson's in 2007 to open and run Randy's Reconditioning. I later closed the shop then in 2010 I took the position as the head detailer at Independent Auto Sales. I have over 30 years of Detailing and Auto Body Repair Experience.

Originally from Kentucky I moved to Ohio in 1970 when I married my first husband Rick who was a good friend of Joe Klatte's. I worked for the City of Troy as the mayor's secretary for many years. Then in 1985 I came to work at Independent Auto Sales as part time and short term office help until I found a long term job. Now here for over 30 years I'm still working for Independent Auto Sales as the office and accounting manager.
